Cellifieds Provides Picture Message Service for Newspapers

Nov 4, 05:43 PM

Webcorona is pleased to announce that Cellifieds is now offering a MMS (picture message) gateway service to press publications. This allows the press to take advantage of advances in mobile phone technology to give their readers a new, easy way to submit adverts to their newspaper.

By providing a picture message gateway, classified advertisers can take one or more pictures of their item, as well as the traditional text used in adverts. The item details are then placed on the Cellifieds site, while an email is sent to the publishers with details of the new advert.

For the standard service, there will be no set up or monthly fees, as a revenue sharing model will be used, with the customer being billed to their phone bill. If the service proves successful, the rewards are shared, but with no ongoing or upfront costs, it is a risk free service. All we ask for is for our logo to be placed somewhere on the classified pages.

With the credit crunch biting, more people will be trying to sell no longer needed luxuries. Why not help your readers sell their items using just their mobile phone?
